At BCVC's 6th Anniversary Final Event, Namib Beetle Design (NBD) won the grand prize and earned 10,000 dollars to develop their idea. Coming in second, winning 3,000 dollars, was Green Lightning Surfboards. The team pitched their idea with their finished product, a custom eco-friendly surfboard. Maji, vowing to help solve the world's water crisis by donating a portion of revenues, came away with third prize and recieved 2,000 dollars.
